Glide 2 Ride
The scariest part of learning to ride a bicycle is the fear of falling off. PLAYSKOOL now offers a new way to overcome that fear by learning to glide first! The Glide 2 Ride bicycle offers a two step approach to help children overcome their fears.
The first lesson taught by the Glide 2 Ride bike is how to glide. Learning to glide first builds the confidence in young children so that they become confident in their balance. Learning to balance on a two wheeled bike is the most fundamental skill. During this first phase, the bike does not use pedals or training wheels. This allows young children to sit closer to the ground and use their feet to push along. This allows kids to gain confidence as they will have more control over the Glide 2 Ride bike.
Once your son or daughter learns this basic move, it's time to move to the next phase of the Glide 2 Ride. Simply screw the pedals onto the bike to transform the Glide 2 Ride from a simple glider to a more traditional bike. The pedals screw on easily since the chain and gears are already mounted to the bike in a protective casing. The Glide 2 Ride sports two different types of brakes, hand brakes and pedals brakes (also known as coaster brakes). The adjustable handlebars and seat allow children of any age or size to comfortable operate the Glide 2 Ride.
Available for boys and girls, the Glide 2 Ride from PLAYSKOOL comes in sleek designs for either gender. Spoke wheel covers are also included to ensure nothing gets caught when riding. The Glide 2 Ride bicycle is a revolutionary new way for kids to learn how to ride a bike.
The Glide2Ride bike is easy to assemble. Simply attach the handlebars to the bike and your children will be ready to ride in minutes. Included in the box: Glide2Ride bike, pedals handlebars, allen wrench, handlebar pad and instructions.
After minutes using the Glide to Ride, don't be surprised to hear your kids shout, "Look Mom, no training wheels!"

I had a simular toy when I was growing up. I think my dad made it himself though, and probably wasn't as save as this one.
